Program Introduction
WEDO Education’s Mentorship Program, led by industry leaders, fosters students in tapping into their potential and exploring a wide range of career options. The program will effectively and accurately match students with their most ideal mentors. Our team will then tailor the program to student’s individual needs and career goals.

WEDO will conduct an assessment of the mentee’s personality, strengths and skill set to determine suitable occupations

Mentors will share their own career experiences and provide business insights to advise mentees on their own career paths.

Based on the mentee’s career goals, the mentor will identify the hands-on skills needed for a particular job. This includes hard skills particular to each field, as well as soft skills such as effective communication, teamwork, adaptability, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. WEDO’s training will increase our students’ employability.

Our Mentor will use real workplace examples to guide students. Through case studies, they will learn:

How to conduct an in-depth analysis of the situation from a professional perspective

How to plan strategic outcomes of workplace issues and with valuable insight from the Mentor

How to effectively resolve problems and challenges encountered in the workplace

The Mentor will provide a practical step-by-step approach to the entire job-hunting process from skills building, resume writing to interview training.

The Mentor will make recommendations for career networking opportunities to the students. Mentee will be asked to present their findings and simulate a mock interview with their Mentor.

A letter of reference will be provided upon successful completion of the program.
